Barista Basic Course (2 Hours)
Firstly, let’s look at the basic barista course. The Barista Basics Course covers the basic skills required to make and serve espresso-based drinks. By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Make a variety of espresso-based drinks.
- Recognize flaws in espresso and resolve those to improve your coffee.
- Fully calibrate doser and doserless grinders.
- Properly clean and maintain your machine and work area.
- Develop an appreciation and understanding of espresso coffee.
This course is suitable for home, office and hospitality workers alike. Moreover, it is also available on-site in your home, office or cafe or in our centrally located Unley Training facility.
Advanced Barista Course (3 Hours)
Secondly, let’s look at the Advanced Barista course. The Advanced Barista Course focuses on the fundamental skills required to make and serve espresso-based drinks. By the end of this course you will be able to.
- Make a variety of espresso-based drinks.
- Steam and texture milk.
- Perfect your Grind and Dose.
- Understand over and under dosing.
- Appreciate and understand espresso-based coffee.
- Properly clean and maintain your machine.
- Find and fix faults with your coffee.
- Understand workflow and time management in a cafe.
This barista training course is fully hands-on and suitable for anyone looking for work in a cafe or specialty coffee shop. It is available in your home, office or cafe using your equipment, or in our Unley Training Facility. We recommend a maximum of two people because you will get more time on the coffee machine. Although, we happily to cater for larger groups.
Latte Art (2 Hours)
Thirdly, let’s look at the Latte Art Course. Perfect and refine your milk texture and learn the three core latte art patterns poured around the world. This is two hours of intense, hands-on training to perfect your technique and milk texture.
Prior experience is advised for this course. You will need to have some familiarity with stretching milk, for instance. We offer on-site training in your cafe, home or office, or at our Unley Training studio. You will experience our World Latte Art machine!
Home Barista Course
Lastly, let’s look at the Home Barista Course. The Home Barista Course is perfect for those who are looking to get the best coffee from their home coffee machine. As a result this course trains you, on YOUR equipment. Learn to dial in your grinder and follow the right recipe for your coffee. You will learn about coffee qualities, recipes and drinks. This course also includes milk stretching, machine cleaning, grinder dialing, and calibration.
Learn to make quality coffee at home. PLUS in addition for a limited time only, you can bring a friend for FREE.
The home barista training course requires no prior experience and as a result, you will learn to make barista quality coffees at home.
